Avvocato Alessandro Nepi
Alessandro Nepi is a member of the New York (US) and Florence (Italy) Bars and has been practicing law since 2006. He is currently working with foreign (mostly from the US) and Italian clients and companies both with civil and criminal matters in Italy (Florence, Milan, Bologna, Rome) and internationally. He has collaborated with the University of Florence as a research assistant of Prof. Michele Papa, as an expert in criminal law. He is one of the trusted attorneys of the Italian Consulates of Pittsburgh (PA), USA, Perth and Melbourne (Australia). Since 2019 he has been a member of the Board of the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He is admitted to practice the law before the Italian Supreme Courts.
Mr. Nepi earned his law degree with honors and was awarded “Student of the Year” by the Faculty of Law of the University of Florence. He was awarded a scholarship for his thesis on “Ethics and Medicine” by the Scientific Committee of the Lanza Foundation of Padova (Italy).
In 2007 he was chosen by the University of Florence to participate to the IP FLEXEM-TER research program sponsored by the European Union working as a researcher for a project in European and employment law. After being awarded a full tuition scholarship, he received an LL.M. from “The Dickinson School of Law” of the Pennsylvania State University. During his studies in the US he also received the “CALI Excellence For the Future” award for the highest grade (A+) in Evidence.
He served several internships at Dufford&Brown P.C. Attorneys at Law in Denver (CO, US), and worked as a research assistant of Prof. Louis Del Duca of “The Dickinson School of Law” of the Pennsylvania State University.
After working with the Law Firm of the criminal lawyer Rosario Bevacqua in Florence (Italy) and then in the International Capital Markets department of the International Law Firm Allen&Overy in Rome (Italy), he went Solo Practitioner working both as a legal consultant and a litigator.
